13 Home Products That Remove Redness Of The Eye
Many factors can cause red, swelling and itchy eyes, including insomnia, too much time in front of computer and television, allergies or weak immune system. Fortunately, there are natural home remedies which can help you to get rid of these ″red eye″ symptoms.
1. Honey
Stir 3 tablespoons of honey with two cups of boiling water or milk. Let it cool slightly and then apply a few drops in the red eye two or three times a day. Also, you can soak cotton gauze in this liquid and apply it as a liner in the eye.
2. Turmeric
Mix 2 tablespoons of powdered turmeric with 200 ml of water. Use this composition as liner on the affected eye. Turmeric is strong natural antibiotic which can be used for inflammation treatment in any part of the body.
3. Fennel
Put the fennel seed into some water and heat it up a little. You can use this warm liquid as liner to reduce the redness in your eyes.
4. Potato

5. Baking soda

Stir calendula extract with water and wash your eyes with it. Also, you can mix a tablespoon of dried chamomile with water. Use these mixtures to reduce the redness of your eyes.
