Baking soda is a very effective cleanser and it has antibacterial properties that help eliminate the excess sebum in the scalp.

RECIPE FOR BAKING SODA SHAMPOO TO STRENGTHEN THE HAIR

To create your house shampoo, put a tablespoon of baking soda and 3 tablespoons of water. Mix the ingredients in a spray bottle and apply the shampoo beginning from the bottom, then up. You can put it on wet or dry hair, then let it stand for 1 to 3 minutes and rinse with warm water. You will notice the difference from the first application.

Nevertheless, it is not recommended to apply this trick more than once a week because the abrasive properties of baking soda can seriously damage your hair. Baking soda is also not recommended for people with colored hair, because it might discolor the hair.

RINSING WATER WITH CIDER VINEGAR TO GIVE IT A SHINE

After you apply this shampoo, you can rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar. In fact, your hair is constantly assaulted by external factors like pollution, dust or sun. Apple cider vinegar is rich in iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus that give shine and strength, and rebalance the pH of the hair.

For this rinse water, mix a tablespoon of cider vinegar with 4 tablespoons of water. If you don’t like the smell given off by the cider vinegar, you can add a few drops of lavender, peppermint or rosemary essential oil. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle. However, do not apply more than once a week, because of the risk of drying out your hair.
